1000年、100年、10年、５年
英語には「年」の単位を表す様々な単語が存在します。
大きい方から見ていくと、1000年は millenium。
millennium

100年は century。
century

10年は decade。

またあまり馴染みがないものの、５年を表すこんな単語も存在します。
lustrum

Late 16th century: from Latin, originally denoting a purificatory sacrifice after a quinquennial census.
lustrum は古代ローマで５年ごとに行われた国勢調査とそれに伴う儀式に由来する単語。
ちなみに現在の日本でも国勢調査は５年ごとに行われています。（次回は2020年）
国勢調査の実施年を意識している人というのはあまりいないかもしれませんが、５年というのは私たちが社会の動きや自分自身の歩みを考える上で案外便利な単位なのではないでしょうか。
そういった意味で、もし広まれば、使い勝手のよい単語になるような気がします。
